A new survey by SafeWise ranked the top 10 safest towns and cities in Missouri. While some of them aren’t located in the Tri-States, it’s still a positive way to look at finding a place to call home.

Why These Missouri Towns Ranked So Highly

Crime rates in Missouri appear to be declining somewhat. Crime certainly hasn’t disappeared, but there does seem to be a slight decrease. It often feels like all we hear about in the news and online is crime happening in cities and towns, so it’s nice to focus on some positive news for a change.

Here are 10 towns and cities that are considered among the safest in the Show-Me State:
