If you thought the current fleet of stealth bombers that make their home at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri were intimidating, you should see the new silent but deadly new model that is next in line.

The current B-2 stealth bomber fleet is a common sight in and around (and above) Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. Its successor is the Northrop Grumman B-21 Raider and it's been designed and tested for years and appears ready to take its place on the runways in Missouri. 24/7 Wall St shared a story this week saying this new stealth is nearly ready for prime time.

Late last year, there was a demonstration of the B-21 Raider at Edwards Air Force Base in California.

The Northrup Grumman FAQ page for this new bomber says it's a digital monster that has even greater stealth abilities than its predecessor. They say "will defeat the anti-access, area-denial systems it will face". Translation? You don't want to be on the receiving end of what this new stealth will be delivering.

This bad boy will also be able to hammer enemies with conventional or nuclear weapons.

The reports do indicate that Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri will be the new home for the B-21 Raider Stealth Bomber according to Defense News which makes perfect sense considering the current stealth fleet and crews are there already.

Let's be clear that it's believed these new stealth bombers likely won't see service time yet as there's a difference between preparing for deployment and actually flying missions.
