Missouri Veteran Reports 3 Lights Moving 200 MPH
Many who are seeing strange lights in the night sky are spotting drones which are now prevalent everywhere it seems. However, a Missouri veteran claims he saw 3 lights that could not possibly be drones as he estimates they were moving upwards of 200 mph.
One of the most recent encounters shared by the National UFO Reporting Center happened in Olivette, Missouri

The NUFORC eyewitness report says that in the late night hours of June 14, 2026, someone with a military background spotted 3 white lights moving in unison. Here are some of their exact words about what they witnessed (I've added emphasis):
"Three solid bright white lights in alignment. 30 degrees above the horizon. Traveling from south to west. Distance from me 1/4 to 1/2 mile. Speed (if 1/4 mile away) about 200 mph. No sound. Went behind a tree and did not reappear."
If you're not familiar with Olivette, Missouri, it's a part of the greater St. Louis area.

How fast can a drone fly?
A drone available to the general public normally tops out at around 70 mph. However, there are 4 military drones capable of the speed the veteran witnessed:
- General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper - 300 mph
- Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk - 400 mph
- Boeing MQ-25 Stingray - 580 mph
- Lockheed Martin RQ-170 Sentinel - 590 mph
I'm not saying that this Missourian didn't see a UFO, but I am saying that a military drone is at least a possibility. The one factor that would make me question that is why would a military drone (or drones) be flying over the St. Louis area where air traffic from the nearby international airport would be a concern? I also consider the fact that a military veteran would likely understand what a military drone would appear and move like and this eyewitness testimony is convinced it's something else.
