The Johnson County Fair is back this year with two nights of bull riding, their BBQ contest, a car cruise in and more from Wednesday July 7 through Saturday July 10.

The Amped Up Pro Bull Riding Tour will have two big shows at the Johnson County Fair on Wednesday July 7 and Thursday July 8. Showtime both nights will be at 7:30PM.

The second annual Johnson County Fair Backyard BBQ Contest is taking place Friday July 9 and Saturday July 10. The BBQ contest is designed for backyard BBQ'ers and contestants can enter a side, pork, beef, chicken and ribs. The contest starts with a cooks' meeting on Friday night July 9 and judging will be Saturday morning July 10. The entry free is $5.

The car cruise in will take play Saturday July 10 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM CDT. Saturday is the biggest day of the fair with the Rat Rod Show from 9:00AM -4:00PM CDT. The fish fry, chicken will also be available, from 5:30PM - 7:30PM and the Mud Run at 7:00PM

Ponch will be providing live music on both Friday July 9 from 8:00PM - 11:00PM CDT and Saturday from 5:00PM - 8:00PM CDT.

While most of the events are scheduled to start Wednesday July 7, the FFA District Fair will be held at the Fairgrounds on Monday July 5 and Tuesday July 6. There are plenty of other events happening during the fair as well.
