Johnson County Rollover Wreck Sends One Man to KC Hospital

One man was airlifted to a Kansas City hospital Thursday afternoon following a rollover vehicle wreck in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 4:40, on MO-23 just south of SE 1175 Road.

According to the online crash report, a 2001 Ford traveled off the right side of the road, struck a culvert, and overturned. The driver, 36-year old Franklin L. McCune, of Centerview, was ejected from the Ford.

McCune was taken to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, by Life Flight, for the treatment of serious injuries.
