Johnson County Wreck Sends One Woman to KC Hospital

A one-vehicle wreck in Johnson County sent a 24-year old woman to a Kansas City hospital with injuries Friday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident just after 7:00, on MO-23, one mile south of SE 650th Road.

According to the online crash report, a southbound 2006 Ford traveled off the right side of the road, the over-corrected three times. The Ford then began to roll and traveled off the left side of the roadway, ejecting the driver.

The driver, 24-year old Amanda M. Gruntman, of Leeton, MO, was taken to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, by Life Flight, for the treatment of moderate injuries.

According to the report, the Ford was totaled.
