The Sacred Heart Junior High Soccer Team won the championship game of the Conference Tournament Monday night against the Smithton Tigers.

The Gremlins battled hard during the first half with the score ending in 1-0 with the Tigers leading. After an encouraging talk among the players at half time, they came back strong and motivated to take the lead. Never giving up, the Gremlins scored a goal in the last three minutes of the game to tie it up.

With the game resulting in a tie, they went into a PK shootout.

The Gremlins won the shootout to take home first place in the conference tournament.
