Juvenile Injured in JoCo Rollover
A 15-year-old boy was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday morning in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2003 Ford, driven by a 15-year-old juvenile from Lexington, was on NW 1051st Road, north of NW 375th Road, around 10:30 a.m., when the driver lost control and the vehicle left the roadway, came to rest in a ditch and overturned.
The boy suffered moderate injuries, and was transported by JCAD to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
The Ford was totaled.
