On Thursday night at 8:26 p.m., Sedalia's K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at New York and Saline for a registration violation. A passenger immediately fled from the vehicle, according to the report.

A perimeter was set up by patrol officers and K9 Rocky was deployed on a track.

After about a 35-yard track, the suspect was found hiding behind some brush behind a dog house.

The suspect, 53-year-old William Charles Mulcrone, of Sedalia, was arrested without incident and transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Mulcrone was booked on his three Failure to Appear warrants on original charges of felony Driving While Revoked, 3rd Degree Felony Domestic Assault, Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility, and Displaying the License Plates of Another Person, as well as a charge of Felony Resisting Arrest.

No bond was given to Mulcrone.
