Keep Your Pet Healthy and Save At These Lower Cost Vaccine Clinics
One of the easiest ways to keep your pet healthy and happy is to make sure they stay current on vaccines. There are a couple of low-cost vaccine clinics happening in Sedalia and Knob Noster over the next couple of days.
Sedalia
The Spay and Neuter Clinic, LLC is holding a cat and dog vaccination clinic today, June 2, at 214 West Main Street in Sedalia, from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM CDT. The vaccines they're offering for cats and dogs and their costs are listed below. Dogs must be leashed and cats must be placed in a carrier. Their vet will do a short pre-examination of the animals, however, the vet will not be addressing medical issues at this clinic.
If your animal needs special accommodations due to aggression, let the staff know and they'll do their best to work around it.
Rabies vaccination for cats and dogs is $15.
FVRCP vaccination for cats is $15.
DA2PPV vaccination for dogs (Distemper, Parvo some other viruses) is $15.
A microchip to help you find your pet if lost is $20.
Knob Noster
Oak Hill Veterinary Services is holding a vaccine clinic and also offering affordable microchips and heartworm preventatives at the Knob Noster City Hall Saturday, June 3, from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Dogs must be on a leash, brief exams will only be given because of time constraints and payment must be in cash or check. The vaccines and services being offered and their costs are listed below.
DHLPP vaccination (Distemper, Parvo, and some other viruses) is $20.
Rabies vaccination (one year/three years) is $15. (If you want the three-year vaccine, you must bring proof of current rabies vaccination.)
Bordetella vaccination (Kennel Cough) is $15
Nail Trim is $5
A microchip to help you find your pet if lost is $25
Heartworm Test is $10
Heartworm Preventative is $10 for the 1st dog and $5 for each additional dog.
A 3-month supply of flea and tick preventative costs between $42 - $50 dollars. Cost is based on the weight of your dog.
