The Knob Noster Fair Board announced that the 2020 Knob Noster Fair scheduled for May 28 - May 30 has been cancelled due to uncertainly over how the coronavirus would impact what the fair could and couldn't do.

The fair board wrote on the Knob Noster Fair Facebook page, "It came with great stress, lots of discussion, tears, consideration of others, and was decided with heavy heart that it was probably in the best interest of the community to cancel the festivities this year."

Additionally, Raymond James posted in a discussion under the fair board's announcement one of the reasons to cancel vs. reschedule is the unavailability of the fair to get the amusement rides they have as part of the festivities.

The 5K run that occurs during the fair is still on, although it will be rescheduled later in the year. People can still register for it here.

One of the things that's clear to me, the people behind the Knob Noster fair are passionate about the fair. They truly enjoy putting together a great event for the Knob Noster community to enjoy. And having to cancel it this year is very disappointing to them.

I believe it when they say next year's fair will be "BIGGER AND BETTER THEN EVER" and "EPICTASTIC!!!!!" The fair board is already asking people to be on the lookout for next year's fair dates. I'd expect you'll see those any day. Let the planning for 2021 commence, I'm already excited about seeing what the fair board has in store for next year's fair.
