Lady Bluebirds Lose to California in Districts

The Cole Camp Lady Bluebirds beat the Warsaw Lady Wildcats, 57-34, Feb. 20 at Versailles.

Warsaw – 6, 14, 2, 12 = 34
Cole Camp – 6, 14, 13, 17 = 57

Top scorers for the Lady Bluebirds were Bailey Heimsoth with 16 , followed by Camyrn Schear with 14 points.

Top scorer for the Warsaw Lady Wildcats was Aubrie McRoberts with 12 points.

And last Saturday, the Lady Bluebirds lost to Concordia, 63-39, at Concordia. Taylor Viebrock had 9 points, while Camryn Schear had 8 to lead the team.

The Lady Bluebirds played California at Versailles High School Wednesday at night in the MSHSAA Class 3 District Basketball Tournament and lost 69-39. That ended the season for the Lady Bluebirds with a 21-6 record.

Camyrn Schear was the top scorer for Cole Camp with 9, followed by Bailey Heimsoth with 8. For California, Elizabeth was the lead scorer with 22 points.
