Sacred Heart with Otterville overcame a shaky start to come out victorious Monday night at Otterville. 

The Gremlins/Eagles overcame a 11-5 first quarter and a 17-8 mid-second quarter deficit to lead 25-22 at half.  The Grems/Eagles pushed the lead to 36-28 in the 4th quarter, only to see it evaporate to a 36-36 tie with 3 minutes to go.

Jenna Halter then hit a big three-pointer, followed by an Aubrey Oehrke goal on an assist from Katie McKinney and a Kate Carney breakaway layup on an assist from Emily Hesse.

McKinney led the team with 12 points, Mariana Restrepo and Halter scored 7 apiece, Carney had 6, Oehrke had 5, Hesse had 4, and Mary Butner rounded out the scoring with 2.  Marissa Heins had 14 for the Saints.

Tonight at McGremlin Gym there will be a triple header with Boys' JV and Varsity vs Fellowship Christian.
