A Holden man was injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred Tuesday morning in Lafayette County.

The MSHP reports that an eastbound 2005 Honda motorcycle, driven by a 54-year-old man from Holden, was at the intersection of Routes U and H around 6:30 a.m., when the motorcycle failed to yield to a northbound 2020 Nissan Altima, driven by a 34-year-old woman from Warrensburg.

The Altima then struck the Honda.

The man suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Odessa EMS to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment.
