
Lee’s Summit Man Drowns in Niangua River
A Lee's Summit man drowned in the Niangua River Monday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the drowning, which occurred at the Barclay Spring Access Point, was not witnessed by anyone.
The patrol says the body of 75-year-old Dennis W. Steckline of Lee's Summit was discovered around 8:45 a.m. Monday in the river, located in Dallas County.
