The Bothwell Regional Health Center Auxiliary held their annual ice cream social last night (June 21) at the BRHC Cafeteria.  The Auxiliary not only volunteers to run the gift shop at the hospital, but they also they host book fairs, scrub sales, and jewelry shows.  The funds raised by the Auxiliary are returned to the health center by helping purchase health-care equipment and supporting the BRHC Foundation.  Once a year they do the ice cream social where for $3.50 you get ice cream, homemade desserts and a drink, and it is very well worth it.

I had the honor to scoop from 5:30-6:30 p.m. for the three hour event,  and Pettis County Presiding Commisioner John Mehan,  Lt. Col. Malloy from Whiteman Air Force Base serving with John Dawes, Mark Hirschberg, and Jim Monroe, all from Bothwell Regional Health Center also scooped ice cream.
