Visitation for Sharon Kay (Berry) Vannoy, 77, Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Hughesville, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30 at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31 at Green Ridge Cemetery.
Cremation arrangements for Darren E. Stratton, 65, of Sedalia, are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville with full military honors.
Visitation for Roy Lee Logan, 90, of Sedalia, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 at Sedalia Community of Christ, with the funeral service to follow at 10:15 a.m. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery with full military honors conducted at graveside. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
A funeral service for Dorothy Delores "Dee" Boyd Anderson, 98, of Sedalia, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at Maplewood Church. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Garden City Cemetery in Garden City, Mo. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
A celebration of life for Brian P. "BJ" Perkins, 45, of Sedalia, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 29 from 2 to 5 p.m. at LifePointe Church. Cremation arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
A celebration of life for Carroll Stephen "Lucky" Luckey, 76, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28 at the First United Methodist Church, Thompson Bloulevard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Inurnment will take place at the Resurrection Garden at First United Methodist Church Celebration Center. Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
No services are planned at this time for Billie Jo Shackelford, 97, of La Monte. Cremation arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
The family of Willard E. “Bill” DeHaven, 96, of Sedalia, will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 at Heckart Funeral Home, where memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Navy, VFW Post 2591, and the Patriot Guard.
A funeral for Juan Nuci Villegas, 93, of Sedalia, will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2 at Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana de Sedalia, 600 S. Summit. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial for Harvard F. “Harv” Ebers, 91, of Sedalia, will be Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 1 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Chapel. Burial with military honors will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Warsaw. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Arrangements in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
Visitation for Michael Wayne Blum, 70, of Sedalia, will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4 at Heckart Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5 at Heckart Funeral Home. Private family burial will follow in Smithton Cemetery.
Funeral service for James Ray Abey, 45, of Cole Camp, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church near Cole Camp. Burial will be in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2 at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center at State Fair Community College. Friends and loved ones are welcome to attend the visitation and funeral service. Due to limited seating at the church, those wishing to pay their respects are encouraged to attend the visitation.
