Local parks and recreation departments have been working with the Easter Bunny after the coronavirus pretty much derailed the rabbit's personal appearance schedule and events with both Sedalia Parks & Rec and Warrensburg Parks & Rec.

In Sedalia, the Easter Bunny sent Parks & Rec a "bunny-gram" explaining that he will be making videos and sending them out to wish you a happy Easter. Sedalia Parks & Rec says on Facebook, "If you would like a video of the Easter Bunny for your child, please email your child/childen's names to slynde@sedaliaparks.com." Please submit all names by Noon on Thursday April 9.

In Warrensburg, The Easter Bunny hopped into the Community Center and told Warrensburg Parks & Rec staff that he wants to send your kids a photo personalized with their name on it. Warrensburg Parks & Rec says on Facebook, "Parents, just email your child's first name to alex.threlkeld@warrensburg-mo.com by NOON this Friday the 10th and we'll email you a Bunny Pic!"

You can get more details on these cool virtual Easter events at both the Sedalia and Warrensburg Parks & Rec Facebook pages.
