Love Beer? Head to Beer Fest at Arrowhead Stadium this May

If you love beer, you'll want to be at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, May 7, for KC Summer Beer Fest.

You'll be able to sample 150 beers from 60 breweries big and small including KC Bier Company, Goose Island, O'Fallen Brewery, River Bluff Brewing, and more.

Additionally, attendees will have a rare opportunity to party on the field at Arrowhead Stadium. And yeah, if you're having an ice-cold beer, you need something to munch on, so there will be plenty of food trucks too.

Attending KC Summer Beer Fest costs $50 for a general admission ticket, which gets you access from 7:00 PM -10:00 PM CDT and includes unlimited beer samples, access to the field, and access to the food trucks. Food is not included. Early admission tickets cost $65 and get you everything general admission tickets do, except you can enter the event at 6:00 PM.

VIP tickets cost $90 and also get you in an hour early at 6:00 PM CDT. Additionally, VIPs will have access to the locker room, the media room, and players lounge with some exclusive beers poured only in the lounge.

The NFL's bag policy will be in effect for the event. Everyone attending must be 21 or older, and infants and toddlers will not be admitted. There are no designated driver tickets, no dogs are allowed, and the event is rain or shine. Parking is free.

For unlimited beer samples and access to the field and parts of the stadium most of us will never experience, the ticket prices seem reasonable. After all, you're not really paying for the beer samples. You are paying for access to Arrowhead Stadium. You are paying to get on the field or paying a premium to hang out in parts of the stadium you and your friends may never see. You're paying for the atmosphere.
