Marshall Man Injured in Saline County Crash

A Marshall man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Friday afternoon in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 1991 GMC SC2, driven by 18-year-old Cooper P. Pennick of Marshall, was at 31574 Highway H just before 5 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a ditch.

Injured was his passenger, 36-year-old James V. Jones of Marshall. He was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital with minor injuries.

Neither the driver nor the passenger were wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
