Marshall Man Injured in Saline County Wreck

A Marshall man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred in Saline County Wednesday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 43-year-old Jeff L. Sims was the driver of a westbound 2000 Jeep Wrangler on Watermill Road (202), west of Lime Avenue (109) at 8:55 p.m., when the driver lost control and traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment.

Sims, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, suffered moderate injuries, and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment.

The Wrangler had minor damage.

Saline County deputies assisted the Patrol.
