Mayor John Kehde proclaimed Feb. 19, 2020, as TRIO Day for the city of Sedalia.

TRIO is a federally funded program that provides free services to eligible students that help them complete high school, enroll in college and graduate with a bachelor’s degree.

State Fair Community College has two TRIO programs – Upward Bound (UB) that serves 50 Smith-Cotton High School students and Student Support Services (SSS) that serves 160 SFCC students.
