An open-house information meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 17 to gather public input about Route HH/H and Cedar Drive Improvements in Pettis County.

The meeting will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at Pettis County Highway Department Barn, 1511 North Ohio, in Sedalia.

The public may attend the hearing at any time between 4 and 7 p.m.. Access for the physically disabled is available.

The project has three alternatives within a boundary of Route H:

Approximately 0.8 miles west of US 65 to US 65; from approximately 0.3 miles north of Route H to the Route 765 intersection on US 65; from US 65 along Route HI-I approximately I mile east of US 65; and Cedar Drive from Route HH south to Griessen Road.

Right of way and easements will be needed for the project.

All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard concerning their views on this project with reference to the economic and social effects of such design, the impact on the environment, and consistency with the goals and objectives of the community.

Schematic plans prepared by the Pettis County's on-call consultant will be available for public viewing at the meeting. Written statements and exhibits will be made a part of the public meeting transcript if received within 10 working days after the date of the meeting.
