Funeral Announcements for May 26, 2026

A memorial service for Betty Jean (Lindsey) Ream (BJ), 72, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 27 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Visitation for Barbara Marie Hammond, 81, of Chesterfield, formerly of Lexington, Mass., will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday May 26 at Heckart Funeral Home. Prayers of the Rosary will begin at 10:40 a.m. with a funeral service starting at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

A celebration of life for Diana Geraldine Uptegrove, 59, of Cole Camp will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27 at the Cole Camp City Park. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

Visitation for Terry K. “Manson” Crabb, 70, of Clifton City,  will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, at Heckart Funeral Home. A celebration of life is being planned and will be held at a later date.

A celebration of life for John Allen Downs, 83, of Fortuna is being planned and will be announced by Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Tipton.

Funeral service for Mary Edith Durrill, 93, of Windsor,  will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 28, at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Hickory Point Cemetery, Green Ridge.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Graveside at Memorial Park Cemetery on May 29 at 11 a.m., for Evelyn M. Privett, 98, of Sedalia. Visitation will be held prior to the graveside service any time before 10:35 a.m. Everyone is asked to meet at Heckart Funeral Home, 903 S. Ohio, to follow the hearse to the cemetery.
