Military Flag Retreat Nominations Due July 4

The deadline to nominate a Missouri veteran/active duty service member for the 2019 Missouri State Fair Military Flag Retreat is July 4.

The Missouri State Fair says veterans and active service members from across Missouri are eligible to be honored one of the eleven days during the fair, in a ceremony taking place at the flag pole near the Centennial Entrance on the fairgrounds.

To be selected, individuals must be nominated using the form available on the Missouri State Fair website. Nominees must be Missouri residents and available one of the eleven days of the 117th Missouri State Fair.

Once a nomination is completed it can be mailed, faxed, or emailed to the Missouri State Fair office, located at 2503 W. 16th Street in Sedalia, MO 65301.
