12-year-old Boy Killed on Mini-bike in Raytown
A 12-year-old boy died in a mini-bike accident that occurred Thursday night in Jackson County.
The MSHP reports that a 12-year-old boy from Raytown, was operating a Monster Moto 80cc mini-bike Thursday night at East 62nd Street and Arlington Avenue just before 8 p.m., when the mini-bike ran off the roadway and struck a curb, then a building.

The boy was pronounced deceased at 8:09 p.m., by Raytown Fireman Dakota Bowman. The body was taken to the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s office.
The mini-bike was totaled and towed by All-City Tow.
