Authorities say a Missouri man has pleaded guilty in a carjacking and a home invasion in which an accomplice was killed.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 26-year-old Paris John Earnest Devine pleaded guilty Monday to carjacking, brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence and a methamphetamine conspiracy charge. His sentencing is set for May.

Prosecutors say Devine admitted stealing a car from a pizza delivery driver who was trying to buy marijuana in September 2017 in St. Louis. The car later was used in an attempt to steal meth, cash and guns from a trailer. When the trailer's owner returned, one of the robbers attempted to shoot at him, but fatally shot accomplice Ramone Thomas instead.

Several others already have pleaded guilty to drug charges.
