Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident Reports for Feb 25, 2019
A Saturday morning accident on US 54 in Cole County claimed the life of an 84-year-old Lake Ozark man. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2003 Chevy Silverado traveled off the roadway at Shepherd Hills Rd. and struck a ditch. The driver, 84-year-old Claude G. Davidson, was pronounced dead after being transferred by EMS to University Hospital in Columbia.
A Warrensburg man suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident on US 50 at Northwest 251 Rd. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 7:18 p.m. on February 23. A 2001 Honda reportedly failed to yield and was struck by a 2005 Chevrolet. The driver of the Honda, 20-year-old Blake A. Briggs, refused medical treatment at the scene. His vehicle was totaled.
Two minors were injured on Saturday morning in an accident at US 65 and Route H in Pettis County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2001 Dodge Caravan was crossing US 65 and drove into the path of a southbound 2006 Nissan Altima. 15-year-old Angel Brashears and 10-year-old William Brashears, both of Windsor, were taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County EMS for the treatment of moderate injuries. Both vehicles were totaled in the accident.
