Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident Reports for June 4, 2018
Two people were injured, including a 7-year-old girl, when a 2016 MOTO Monster Minibike struck a cinder block fire pit and overturned in Knob Noster on June 3. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the driver, 55-year-old Matthew Webb was ejected from the bike and suffered moderate injuries, but refused treatment at the scene. Webb was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child. 7-year-old Ashlynn Nicholson of Warresnburg was transported by EMS to Children's Mercy for the treatment of minor injuries.
A 19-year-old Sedalia woman suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident in Benton County on June 2. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Delanie Swisegood lost control of a 2007 Dodge Calibre that struck a culvert on Route H, overturned across the roadway and came to rest after striking trees. Swisegood was treated at the scene and released to family. The vehicle was totaled in the accident.
