At 2:12 Monday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an injury accident in the 23000 block of Davis Avenue in the Warsaw area of Benton County. According to the report the accident occurred as the driver of a 2015 Polaris All-Terrain Vehicle, 18-year-old Justin A. Ransdell of Warsaw took a turn too short, and overturned, and came to rest on its top. All three occupants of the vehicle were not wearing safety equipment, and were ejected from the vehicle. The vehicle reportedly landed on top of 16-year-old Kimberly Ransdell of Warsaw causing her serious injuries. She was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by Staff for Life Air Ambulance for treatment. The driver and another occupant, 14-year-old Cheyenne D. Gimm of Lincoln received minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.

 

Lafayette County accident injures four Tuesday morning

 

Around 11:40am Tuesday morning the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a vehicle accident on I-70 at Mile Marker 45.8 in Lafayette County. The accident report states the driver of a 1992 Cadillac,19-year-old Jaylen M. Fields of Kansas City Missouri was travelling at a high rate of speed trying to elude the Higginsville Police when the vehicle travelled off the right side of the roadway, and struck a guardrail. The driver of the vehicle then over corrected causing the vehicle to return to the roadway, and then travelled off the left side of the roadway, where it struck a cable barrier, spun out of control, and came to rest on a cable barrier. The driver, and two of the occupants 17-year-old Stephan D. Harris and 17-year-old Malachi B. Murray also of Kansas City Missouri were taken to area hospitals for treatment. A third occupant, Christopher J. Scroggins address unknown was transported to Centerpoint Hospital with moderate injuries.
