The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association cancelled all fall sports for this year. This is disappointing news for all of The University of Central Missouri's student athletes and fans. Here is a portion of the MIAA release published by the University of Central Missouri:

All MIAA fall sport competitions will be suspended until January 1, 2021. The Association will continue to explore the possibility of a limited number of competitions in football, volleyball, men's soccer, and women's soccer in the spring, as permitted by the NCAA.  The Conference office has also canceled the 2020 MIAA Virtual Football Media Day presented by Seigfreid Bingham in light of the suspension of the MIAA football schedule.

Jerry Hughes, Vice President Intercollegiate Athletics posted the following statement on the UCM Athletics Facebook page:

The MIAA says it will make a decision on winter sports around October 1.
