Northwest-Sacred Heart Football Loses to Liberal

Northwest-Sacred Heart football lost to Liberal with Bronaugh Friday night, 32-22.

Leading offensive players included: Tanner Damlo 95 yards on 15 carries and a 2 point conversion, Jonathan Slaughter 35 yards on 11 carries, Cody Damlo 4 yards on 2 carries, Tanner Damlo 180 yards on 13 of 17 passes and 2 touchdowns and a 2 point conversion passCody Damlo had 2 catches for 106 yards and 2 touchdowns, Nick Crosswhite had 7 catches for 30 yards and a 2 point conversion catch
Mason Locke had 3 catches for 19 yards, Jonathan Slaughter had 1 catch for 25 yards.

Leading defensive players included: Keaton Halsey had 14 tackles, Caden Crooker had 9 tackles, Mason Locke had 7 tackles
Jonathan Slaughter and Tanner Damlo had 5 tackles each, Nick Crosswhite had 4 tackles and a pass interception.

The loss drops NW/SH's record to 1 - 6. They play Norborne with Hardin-Central (3-4) Oct. 18 at Hughesville.

Liberal is 5-2.
