A Warsaw woman was injured in a six-vehicle crash that occurred in Henry County Thursday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a southbound 2006 Dodge driven by 22-year-old Connor J. Dowell of Oak Grove, overtook and struck the rear of a southbound 2016 Ford in a construction zone at 5:35 p.m. on Missouri 7, one-quarter mile north of Route AA. The 2016 was driven by 70-year-old David M. Malecki of Edwards.

The 2016 Ford then hit a southbound 2019 Ford driven by 60-year-old John R. Kubicki of Shawnee Kan.

The 2019 Ford then hit a southbound 2006 Chrysler driven by 32-year-old Joshua S. Mugg of Kansas City.

The Chrysler then hit a southbound 2014 Ford driven by 49-year-old Heather M. Mathias of Warsaw, which then struck a 2009 Chevy driven by 55-year-old Steven L. Hunter of Clinton.

A passenger in the 2016 Ford, 52-year-old Katherin Malecki of Warsaw, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Four of the vehicles had minor damage, while the 2016 and 2019 Ford had extensive damage.

All involved were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, it was reported.

Henry County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
