An 18-year old Otterville resident was injured Sunday night in a two-vehicle on Highway 65 in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 8:45, on US-65 at Angus Drive.

According to the online crash report, a 2012 Chevrolet, driven by 19-year old Cole W. Luttrell, of Smithton, overtook and struck a 2003 Chevy, driven by 18-year old Daniel J. Rose, of Otterville, who was attempting to make a left turn from the right lane.

Rose suffered minor injuries and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center, by EMS, for treatment.

Luttrell was reportedly uninjured.

Both men were wearing safety devices.

The vehicles were totaled and towed. The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Pettis County Sheriff's Department.
