Pettis County Law Day Cases from Oct 1, 2018

Here is a sampling of cases that were resolved on Law Day in Pettis County Circuit Court held October 1, 2018; courtesy of Pettis County Prosecutor Phillip Sawyer

Brianna Nicole Johnson:  age 33,  Sedalia,  MO was sentenced to 5 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone Bitartate.

Michail R. Cowherd:  age 29,  Sedalia,  MO  was sentenced to concurrent terms of 10, 4, 4 and 4 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections on four separate matters (2 counts of Assault in the Second Degree, 1 count Domestic Assault and 1 count Resisting Arrest).

David Shaun Jasper:  age 40, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to two 4 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections on two separate matters (1 count Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and 1 count Resisting Arrest).

Justin H. Schoen:  age 33,  Otterville,  Mo was sentenced to concurrent 7, 4 and 4 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections on three separate matters (1 count Resisting Arrest,  1 count Possession of a Controlled Substance and 1 count Possession of a Firearm).

Orval Gene Hudson:  age 61, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to two 7 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrrections on two separate matters (1 count Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and 1 count Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine).

Holden B. Browning:  age 28, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 5 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.

Calvin Comfort:  age 28, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to three 2 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on three separate matters (2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and 1 count Possession of a Controlled Substance-Trazadone).
