Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports for Aug. 20
On Saturday, while assisting another deputy with a reported burglary investigation, a female identified as Kayla M. Denny was located with a possible warrant. Once confirmed, Denny was placed into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
On Sunday, deputies took a report of Introduction of Contraband into a Jail Facility. Charges are pending.
On Saturday, deputies took a theft report from Union Pacific Railroad Company in the area of East Prairie Road in La Monte.
On Friday, deputies responded to a trailer park on Boonville Road reference a physical disturbance over a dog biting a female. No arrest was made, and all parties involved were asked to make a statement at the Shreriff's Office.
On Saturday, deputies responded to East Timber Ridge Drive reference a report of a vehicle in the roadway with a broken window. Upon arrival, it was determined that the vehicle had been broken into and items taken from it. Investigation continues.
