Sedalia man arrested on a Burglary warrant out of Nebraska

At 11:23 Sunday night Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Southgate Loop in Pettis County on a suspicious vehicle. Following an investigation Deputies arrested 21-year-old Jacoby Indiana Gepford of Sedalia on a Felony Warrant for burglary out of Sarpy County Nebraska. According to the Sheriff’s report Gepford was taken to the Pettis County jail where he was held on the no-bond warrant awaiting extradition to Nebraska.

Sexual misconduct investigation ongoing in Pettis County

Saturday evening Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies took a report on a possible sexual misconduct that occurred in the 31000 block of Tebo Road in Pettis County. The report states an investigation continues in the case.

Theft Complaints reported to the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office

A flat screen television was reported stolen on Saturday afternoon in the 1300 block of East Booneville. According to the Pettis County sheriff’s Report the television was recovered, and the suspects have been identified. The investigation continues.

A homemade single axel trailer was reported stolen in Green Ridge4 Saturday. The owner said it was a gray/rust car trailer. There were no suspects at the time of the Sheriff’s Report.

A bronze vase was reported stolen on Friday. The Pettis County Sheriff’s Office reported the theft took place at Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery on 28th Street.

Two mailboxes were reported stolen in the 28000 block of McGee Road in Pettis County. One of the mailboxes was green, and the other was a black plastic.
