Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports for January 6, 2021

This is a compilation of reports released by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office:

On Sunday, Jan. 3, Pettis County Deputies responded to 100 Road Runner Court, for a report of a disturbance that occurred Saturday night, Jan. 2. After an investigation, Bre'Asia Jones was arrested for making a terrorist threat. Jones was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold, pending the formal filing of charges by the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office.

On Sunday, Jan. 3, Pettis County Deputies conducted a vehicle stop in the 1000 block of South Main in La Monte. The driver, Kimberly Ballenger, was arrested on two outstanding Pettis County warrants. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail.

On Saturday, Jan. 2 at 9:50 p.m., Daniel Ray of Independence was stopped for a traffic violation on US 50 near Rissler Road and issued a citation for no driver's license and no proof of insurance.

On Saturday, Jan. 2 at 1:22 a.m., Pettis County Deputies conducted a traffic stop near Sedalia Road and Georgetown Road. The driver, Jason Ryan Bartlett, was arrested for driving while revoked or suspended, failure to register a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana of less than 10 grams. Bartlett was released from the Pettis County Jail with a court date.
