On Wednesday night at 10:50 p.m., Pettis County deputies responded to U Highway and Liberty School Road on a disturbance in progress. An investigation is ongoing.
On Wednesday, Jeffrey Nations reported to the Pettis County Sherif's Office that someone stole a black 18-foot flat trailer from Peterbilt, Inc., sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
On Wednesday at 7:47 p.m., Janice S. Jones of La Monte reported a case of identity theft to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office.
On Tuesday just after 3 p.m., a Pettis County deputy responded to Askew and Drake Road in La Monte on a report of a suspicious person running. The reporting party said the person appeared to be out of place with the clothes he was wearing and appeared to be hiding in the trees. The deputy made contact with the suspect and a computer check revealed he had an active felony Pettis County warrant for DWI – persistent offender. He was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $10,000 bond. He was not identified in the report.
On Tuesday, Pettis County deputies took a report of littering in the 400 block of Covered Bridge Road.
