Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports for March 17, 2020

On Sunday, Pettis County deputies were advised of an intoxicated female leaving the Pettis County Jail with a four-year-old child in the back seat of a car, taking the vehicle without permission. Deputies shortly thereafter located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Lesley A. Wilson of Sedalia was arrested for DWI and endangering the welfare of a child at 3rd and Limit. Wilson was then transported back to the Pettis County Jail, and the child and car were released back to her mother.
On Sunday just after 11 p.m., Pettis County deputies were dispatched to the 1300 block of East Boonville on an assault in progress. The victim was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center ER.
On Sunday, Pettis County deputies arrested Eduard Radacenco of Sedalia on an FTA Municipal warrant.
On Saturday at 12:21 a.m., Pettis County deputies conducted a traffic stop at Clinton Road and James Road. The driver, identified as 42-year-old Jason Scott Klein, was placed under arrest and Klein resisted. During a search, a large amount of a crystal substance was located on Klein that field tested positive for methamphetamine. Deputies requested charges of 2nd degree trafficking of a controlled substance, 2nd degree assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
On Saturday, Pettis County deputies arrested Jason C. Williams after conducting a traffic stop at Highway 50 and Route 135. Williams was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on summons at the scene.
On Friday, Pettis County deputies arrested Jason W. Johnson of Sedalia on a Pettis County FTA warrant. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $150 cash bond.
On Thursday, Pettis County deputies took a private property damage report in the area of Miller Chapel Cemetery.
On March 5, Pettis County deputies arrested Joseph Hicks on an active warrant.
