Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports for November 4, 2019

On Thursday afternoon, Pettis County deputies took a theft report in the 21000 block of Cloney Road. According to the report, the theft from a motor vehicle occurred on Oct. 29 around 8 p.m.

On Friday around 10 a.m., Reggie Cope reported that several attempts were made to obtain various forms of credit in his name. All attempts were unsuccessful and the incident is under investigation by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office.

On Friday around 8:40 p.m., Pettis County deputies observed someone attempting to make contact with someone inside the Pettis County Jail, 333 S. Lamine. Deputies located Kenneth W. Wood, III, and he was placed on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of charges. At the time of the report, it was unclear if damage was done to the building.

On Saturday, Pettis County deputies arrested Taylor J. Osborne of Grandview for driving while suspended. He was booked and released from the Pettis County Jail with a court summons.

On Sunday, Crystal Bentley of Sedalia reported that someone damaged her mailbox overnight.
