Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports for September 7, 2020

Early Sunday morning, Pettis County deputies conducted a vehicle stop in the 3100 block of West Broadway for improper registration. The driver, Adrian Crutchfield of Sedalia, was arrested for possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail.
Early Sunday morning, Pettis County deputies attempted a traffic stop on a westbound vehicle on US 50 around Warren Avenue. The driver failed to stop, and deputies pursued the vehicle until it stopped in the 3100 block of South US 65. Devonte Poindexter was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
On Sunday, Pettis County deputies conducted a traffic stop at US 50 and Winchester on a vehicle failing to maintain its lane. The driver, Lauren Storch, was arrested for driving while revoked, and was also wanted on two Caldwell County warrants.
On Saturday, Pettis County deputies arrested Joshua D. Smith of Otterville on a Sedalia warrant after conducting a vehicle stop for no registration in La Monte.
On Friday, Pettis County deputies responded to the 2800 block of Wesley Court for an animal complaint and property damage report. No suspects were identified at the time of the report. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Pettis County Sheriff's Department.
On Friday at 6:15 p.m., Jeffrey Laird reported the theft of a cell phone from his residence in the 1400 block of Elm Hills Boulevard.
On Aug. 31, Pettis County deputies arrested Dylan Clark of Sedalia for a 12-hour protective custody hold in the 6000 block of US 50.
