Police Investigating Forged Checks in Sedalia

The Sedalia Police Department is investigating two incidents of forgery reported to police on Tuesday.

Officers took a complaint from Woods Supermarket of a forged check being cashed on November 30 in the amount of $318.19, and another forged check being cashed on December 4 in the amount of $306.17.

Police say charges are being submitted, but no suspect or suspects were named in a police report.
