Ralph W. Banning, 87

Ralph W. Banning, age 87, a lifelong resident of Sedalia, MO, passed
away on Saturday, January 16, 2016.

He was born on August 3, 1928, to Walter and Evelyn Banning of Sedalia, MO, both who have preceded him in
death.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Jane (Kolling)
Banning.  He is survived by his sister, Emily Veracka of New Smyrna
Beach, FL, one son Robert and Robert’s wife Susan both of Wildwood, MO,
and two grandchildren – Shelley and Ryan Banning of Wildwood, MO.

Mr. Banning served in the Navy near the end of World War II and was an
employee of Pittsburgh Corning, Central States of Omaha and the Banning
Family Farm.  He was also a lifelong member of Broadway Presbyterian Church.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January
23, at Heckart Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m.

Entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
