Robert Woolery Senior Memorial Pow Wow July 18 – 19
The Robert Woolery Sr., Memorial Pow Wow will be held July 18th and 19th at the Memorial State Fairgrounds in the air-conditioned AG building.
On Saturday, July 18th, there will be a Gourd Dance at 11 am, Intertribal from 1- 5 p.m., and Grand Entry at 7 pm.
On July 19th, there will be a gourd dance at 11 am and Intertribal from 1 to 5 p.m.
The event is free to the public, and guests are encouraged to bring chairs or sit on the bleachers.
Performers for the events include Kevin Leroy as the Head singer, Bob Wooley as the head man dancer, Lalequah Gaines as the head lady dancer, Abygale Hoffman as the princess, Shane Adams as the arena director, and Bill Branson as the MC.
Drugs, alcohol, firearms, and weapons will not be permitted. Traders are by invitation only.
