A Clinton man was seriously injured in a Pettis County rollover wreck that occurred early Saturday morning.

The MSHP reports that a westbound 1999 Pontiac driven by 34-year-old David Singleton of Clinton failed to negotiate a curve at 1:40 a.m., traveled off the left side of Highway AA at Binder Road (northwest of Green Ridge), overturned and struck a tree.

Singleton suffered serious injuries and was transported by Lifeflight Eagle to Centerpoint Hospital. He was not wearing a safety device, according to the report.

The Pontiac was totaled and towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing.

Pettis County deputies and Pettis County Fire assisted the Patrol at the scene.
