Sacred Heart Moves on to Face Rich Hill at Sectionals

In the 5 p.m. semifinal Wednesday night, number-one seed Sacred Heart won over number four seed Osceola, 27-25, 24-26 & 25-13.

In the second semi-final, Lincoln beat Green Ridge 23-25, 25-22 & 25-21.

In the final, Sacred Heart won in two sets, 25-22 & 25-17.

In the final match, the team hit .275 with 17 kills from Emma Siron and 5 each from Grace Goodwin and Kiley Beykirch.
Emma Siron had 5 aces and 10 assists.
Grace led with 15 digs.
Kiley had 14 digs and 15 assists.

"We had great contributions from every girl that stepped on the floor for Sedalia tonight," said head coach David Fall.

Sacred Heart (18-10-3) travels to Rich Hill (18-10-3) on Saturday, Nov. 2 to face Rich Hill in Class 1 State Sectionals. The winner of that match moves on to play the winner of the Greenfield-Calvary Lutheran match-up.

The girls All-District Team was announced Wednesday night as well.
