The Sacred Heart Gremlins pulled their record to 5-5 on the season with a victory over the Stover Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs struck first with a free kick goal by Hunter Wolfe in the 28th minute. Francisco Rojas quickly evened the score just four minutes later with a goal of his own at the 22nd minute.

The Gremlins finally found some rhythm on offense, consistently possessing the ball for long stretches. However, the possession never resulted in another goal and the Gremlins went to half-time tied 1-1.

The second half once again saw the Gremlins assert their possession style but with no results on the scoreboard. For the game, the Gremlins out shot the bulldogs 28-5, but simply could not find a goal. Stover's Hunter Wolfe then punished a Gremlin's mistake in the back and scored on an empty net to put the Bulldogs up 2-1 with 18 minutes left in the game.

A credit to the young Gremlin's team, they continued to battle and Rojas once again found the net with 11 minutes left to tie the game up 2-2. Sacred Heart had multiple scoring opportunities in the last ten minutes but couldn't convert a goal sending the game to overtime.

In overtime, the Gremlin's immediately threatened multiple times. With the combination of Jude Rollings, Nolan Walker, and John Ulbrich in the back, the Gremlin's defense continually won 50-50 balls and kept the pressure on the Bulldogs.

With two minutes left in the first overtime, Rojas dribbled across the front of the 18 and let loose with his best shot of the night to to send the Gremlin's to a 3-2 victory. Francisco Rojas' hat trick in the game pushed his season goal total to 10.
