Sacred Heart recorded their sixth defensive shutout in seven games for a 5-0 victory in the first round of the Kaysinger Conference Tournament at Stover.

For the second game in a row, Juan Fernandez recorded a hat trick. Lucas Martin and Ian Viscarra each scored second half goals for Gremlins to improve their season record to 11-5.

The Stover Bulldogs are now now 2-10.

Sacred Heart will face the Green Ridge Tigers (5-6) in the second round of the conference tournament on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in Stover.
