Special recognition was given to five Sacred Heart School 2020 graduates who were the beneficiaries of college scholarships made possible by local contributors with close ties to Sacred Heart School.

Hannah McDonald (attending Missouri State University) and Jude Rollings (attending Kansas State University) received $2,500 each from the Jim and Barbara Cooney Scholarship. The Cooneys are both graduates and long-time supporters of Sacred Heart School. Grace Goodwin (attending SFCC) received $5,000 from the McCarthy Toyota Scholarship.

The McCarthy Toyota Scholarship was established in 2015 to recognize and financially support deserving SHS graduates. Blaise Wilt (attending Colorado State University) received $1,000 from the Devon Grose Memorial Scholarship.

This scholarship was established to honor the life of Devon Grose, a 2015 SHS graduate, who passed away in 2016. Zaine Dover (attending Columbia College) received $500 from the Devon Grose McCarthy Toyota Scholarship. McCarthy Toyota partnered with the Grose family to establish this scholarship to honor Devon, who was one of the first SHS recipients of the McCarthy Toyota Scholarship.

In addition to these scholarships, the SHS Class of 2020 was awarded  $695,975 in total scholarships, and have accepted $517,075. All 21 members of the Class of 2020 announced plans to attend college.
